We’re the family behind American Heritage Soap Company. To us, this is more than just soap. It is a way to bring heritage, health, and intentional living into everyday life.

Our journey began with a simple desire: to find soap made with truly clean ingredients. What we discovered instead was frustration. Products labeled “natural” were still filled with chemicals, and beloved brands were controlled by the same few corporations. The illusion of choice was just that — an illusion.

We did not want to support companies that did not reflect our values. So we decided to make our own. We do it the old-fashioned way, by hand, in small batches, using only ingredients we trust.

At AHSC, we believe the everyday things you use should align with what you believe. They should support your health, your community, and your values, not compromise them.

We craft each bar of soap with care and intention. They are inspired by the natural beauty of America and the timeless values that shaped it: hard work, personal responsibility, integrity, and freedom. From the first pour to the final cut, our family makes every bar with honesty, purity, and purpose.

This is more than skincare. It is a return to what really matters — craftsmanship, heritage, and the power of making things by hand.

Meet the Maker

Hi, I’m Rachel, the founder, maker, and heart behind American Heritage Soap Company.

This journey started as a personal mission to clean up the products in our home. I was tired of so-called “natural” labels hiding harmful ingredients and frustrated by supporting faceless corporations that didn’t reflect my values.

So I rolled up my sleeves and learned the art of traditional soapmaking — one batch at a time.

Today, every bar I create is a labor of love: made with pure ingredients, inspired by the land I love, and inspired by the timeless American spirit of doing things right. I believe in quality over shortcuts, in personal responsibility, and in honoring our heritage through meaningful everyday rituals.

When I’m not handcrafting soap, you’ll likely find me homeschooling my kids, walking in nature, reading with a cup of herbal tea, or dreaming up new ways to live a healthier, simpler life.
